Today I’m attempting my first solitary century ride. I’m hitting the Little Miami Bike Trail and riding up to Yellow Springs and back to Loveland.
Yes, there will be ice cream involved at the turn-around. But this will involve me going over 50 miles to reach the halfway point…but for Young’s Jersey Dairy ice cream, it’s worth it.
Oh, and I’m doing my first triathlon of the season tomorrow at Caesar Creek State Park. Doing a century the day before probably isn’t the best idea…but it’s all part of the Ironman insanity!
Just consider today a little jaunt to pick up some ice cream. Be back in about 8 hours!
